Top ten outsourcing countries in the world

By beau On April 2, 2009 2 Comments

Here’s an article that I found about the top countries in the world for outsourcing but not sure if its for real!

Top ten outsourcing countries

Here is the list
1.India
2.China
3.Malaysia
4.Philippines
5.Hungary
6.Czech Republic
7.Russia
8.South Africa
9.Mexico
10.Poland

I did not know allot of these countries where on this list and I would have thought that Philippines would have been number two at least but I guess with allot of the manufacturing going on that’s why.

I think that you are going to see the Philippines move up this list in the next couple of years because allot of countries are getting tired of the accents of other countries but the Philippines call centers seem to be improving year by year and with a huge American influence it will make it even bigger.

I have been looking at other countries that in the future could be a place that would be cheaper and better then the Philippines but at this time I don’t see anything that is popping up right now or any time soon, I still think the Philippines has the best of everything that you need for outsourcing or call center type work.

On a last note, Malaysia at number three is crazy I did not even know if was outsourcing let along to be the number three on the list, I did do some reading online and it even said that the Philippines was cheaper in cost then there to do business.

ACS did not lay off 900 agents?

By beau On November 25, 2008 5 Comments

A report was released a couple of weeks ago that ACS Advance Contact Solutions lay off 900 agents, but now President Arroyo is saying that it was all BS and ACS is still continuing to grow and hire new applicants.

A call center in every province

By beau On November 25, 2008 No Comments

The other day Presiendt Arroyo announced that she wants a call center in every province in the Philippines. Right now she has ask the ICT to do a study in all the province to see if this would be possible.

First thing she is crazy, many people have thought of this and even tried it but here are that problems that you would run into.

English and Connectivity

Most of the province don’t have both of these and I think it will be awhile before they do.

Farewell to a Friend

By admin On September 22, 2008 1 Comment

After one and a half years of service,a very good friend and a very dependable employee decided to call it a career in the call center industry and decided to move on to another country as his next career step.

This person has been with me for 13 years as a friend and has been one of my most dependable IT Personnel in the company during his entire one and a half years of stay. I would always appreciate his professionalism, his hard work, his conviction and his passion for the company. My kudos to you my friend.

It is with a heavy heart that I must say farewell to such a fine person, but I watch him with pride as he gallantly marches to his next destination, armed with the knowledge and wisdom learned from us. May your next venture be successful and fruitful. You will always be a part of us.

Thank you my friend.

Survival of the Fittest

By admin On September 19, 2008 1 Comment

In the call center world, those who stand strong survives, those who don’t sees it as temporary reprieve for the need of employment. If you want to prosper in the call center business, there is no room for emotions, if things has to be done, it has to be done. Nothing personal, just business. Although with all of this, a good working ethic and a good personal ethic still applies.

Not a lot of people sees the call center as a long term employment opportunity. For us that has been in the business for a long time now, its sad to see that most of them lacks the passion and the conviction.Yes, the call center is surely based on the law of survival of the fittest, but it is fair enough to give everybody a fighting chance.

Keep The Fire Burning

By admin On September 18, 2008 1 Comment

Like any other businesses, call centers also have its up and downs, the borderline between failure and success is only separated by your desire to win and to learn to stand up where you fell. We see a lot of companies, not just call centers that crumbles down on the weight of different challenges, economic and other external factors. But there are still those that rose up to the challenge and emerged victorious.

We just have to remember that its not always a smooth sail, and the road to success doesn’t have only one fork, there are a lot. Its important that we should always be ready to face the challenges and make the right decision and do the right actions when we reach those obstacles.

If something went wrong. find the reason why, thats the first step in solving the problem. Next is creating contingency plans, what would you do if you feel that the weight of the challenges are becoming heavier? How can you weed out the problem what would you do the fix it and prevent it from happening again.

Dont lose hope, keep your desire for success, let it fuel your action..Keep the flames of hope burning.

Keeping it simple and straight forward

By admin On September 17, 2008 1 Comment

Lets admit it, no matter how many options we choose from, its still hard for us to find the one that we really like, or the exact one that we need. Wouldnt it be nice if we are able to choose just the exact things that we need? That is what im trying to gear towards to, provide our clients with the power to pick and choose.

If they can find a company that could give them exactly what they are looking for, nothing more and nothing less, the offer would surely be appealing to them.

I still have a bunch of tweaking to do, but im sure it wll be all worth it
